SmartParent is coming soon

SmartParent was developed as a follow-up to the SmartMom® program to increase access to current, evidence-based information for parents to support them during the first year of their infant’s life. It is Canada’s first parenting education program delivered via text messaging. Messages are delivered to parents free of charge, are tailored to their infant’s age, and include links to trustworthy online resources, suggest topics of conversation with healthcare providers, and direct parents to local services.

SmartParent was developed by maternal and child health experts, in partnership with Optimal Birth BC, the BC Ministry of Health and BC Health Authorities, and in consultation with expectant and new parents. Canadian technology company, Memotext, helped us build the tools to deliver SmartParent.
